Jennifer Pflaumer founded Paroo, in 2009 after realizing the need for concentrated information management solutions for businesses across all industries. Her clients range from global consumer products manufacturers and non-profit performing arts institutions, to media and entertainment companies and humanitarian organizations. Ms. Pflaumer is consistently able to understand her client’s needs, providing strategic oversight and sustainable process and system recommendations to propel the businesses to the next level.

Her expertise includes liaising between key business groups and IT departments to manage digital assets, creating information strategies and performing system analysis and design. Ms. Pflaumer earned her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from UCLA, with a focus on human-computer interaction, digital media, and information architecture. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Salisbury University.

Ms. Pflaumer is a member of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and formerly served as President of the Association of Independent Information Professionals. She has served as President of the UCLA Library and Information Science Alumni Association and Membership Director on the board of the SLA Southern California Chapter. She continually keeps abreast of trends and issues by attending a variety of seminars, webinars and conferences geared toward information management and digital strategy.
